This is a very unique brew! The fruitiness was enjoyable! I have never had a sour tasting brew before – but the finish is so clean!!!

As I got about halfway through, I noticed a dry mouthfeel and the alcohol started to present a little more.

In the end a very enjoyable brew!!

I’ll echo Chuck in this one’s uniqueness! It’s not my first sour beer, and typically I have not enjoyed sour beers. But the natural fruitiness balances the sour in this beer a ht better than any I’ve tried. It’s funny – the sip finished really sour and I thought I was going to hate this. But after a few more sips, that times down a little and I am appreciating the cherry, wine, barrel and vanilla flavours more.
I don’t think I need to drink more than one of these, but it’s oddly interesting.

When I first poured this beer it came out dark and murky and I thought “oh boy this is going to be thick”. Turns out it was very smooth, easy to drink, but sour. Not a super sour beer, but enough to take away some of the sweetness. Great beer, this particular brand is imported from Germany and I will be looking for some more “traditional” beer from them on my next LCBO trip.
